About Christy

Christy came to know the Lord at the age of 10 at vacation bible school.  She grew up in Ringgold, GA and received her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Dalton State College.  She later moved to LaFayette, GA after marrying the love of her life, Charlie.  They were blessed with twin boys in 2011, Jud and Sawyer.

Sawyer and Jud both love sports and are very good athletes.  They both love the Lord and love to play baseball, soccer, and football.

After the birth of her boys, Christy had a calling to work with children.  In 2012, she returned to school and received a Masters of Art in Education.  Christy taught Kindergarten at North LaFayette Elementary until 2018 when she resigned after the loss of her husband.  God has continued to work in her life and enable her to continue working with children.  She has been blessed to be able to work in the lives of children at LaFayette First in WEE Care and church and can’t wait to see what the future has.
