Click “Plan Your Visit” below to let us know you’re coming and we’ll be ready to greet you when you arrive. Worship
Our Sunday services usually always include music and a message. We have a live band and choir each Sunday playing current worship songs and wonderful hymns, and Derrick teaches most Sundays out of the year. Our services typically last around 60 minutes, and we’re confident that you’ll experience an inviting atmosphere and friendly people. Lastly, feel free to dress comfortably.

For Your Family
Children
Children are the future of our church. For that reason, LaFayette First places a huge emphasis on making sure our children have a BLAST! with Bible-based programming where kids are ministered to on their level, learning about Jesus, while at the same time interacting with their peers. Our children’s workers are committed to making sure your child is in a safe and happy environment. If you have any questions about our BLAST! children’s ministry, please email christy@lafayettefirst.life.
Youth
While children are the future of our church, students are our developing church. As such, our desire is to ignite a passion in our youth to seek after God’s will and glory through faith in Jesus Christ. Through Sunday classes, Wednesday CHAOS, annual mission trips, and other fun activities the students at FBC are challenged and equipped to live for Christ even while in their youth. If you have any questions about our student ministry, please email roger@lafayettefirst.life.
Adults
Connect Groups
Adults need connection to God and others. We offer this opportunity through connect groups. Some meet on Sunday morning at 10am & others meet at other convenient times throughout the week. Please email derrick@lafayettefirst.life to get connected.
WOMEN’S MINISTRY
Our women’s ministry is a body of believing women dedicated to serving the needs of not just the women of our church, but the body as a whole and the community. Through Bible study, simulcasts, conferences, service projects, etc., we’re dedicated to encouraging women to grow in their love and knowledge of Jesus Christ that they might become mature and effective witnesses in their home, church, community, and world.
MEN’S MINISTRY
When men get together to do something they enjoy it gives an opportunity to build relationships. Within those relationships, men are able to strengthen one another in their Christian faith and lead one another to a deeper walk with Christ. Our men’s ministry exists to build up the men of LFBC, so that through men’s breakfasts, conferences, and Bible study, we will see every man grow in the character and skills necessary to lead in the home, community, workplace, and church.
Growing in your faith
Sunday Morning Bible Study Groups/Connect Groups
Community is as vital to the Christian life as any other aspect, including worship, and private spiritual disciplines. We encourage each member of the LaFayette First family to engage and connect in community through a Life Group. These currently meet on campus and others are meeting virtual or at other times off-campus, if you have any questions please email derrick@lafayettefirst.life.
D-Groups
D-Groups give a Christian who is wanting to grow deeper in their faith an opportunity to engage in accountability and discipleship with a small (4-5) group of folks. Men meet with men and women meet with women. If you have any questions please email derrick@lafayettefirst.life.
ADVANCE
Advance classes provide a chance for you to advance your faith in 8-10 week classes where the content is designed to help you dive deeper into a specific study. Classes range from prayer to marriage to parenting to Biblical theology. The next session of Advance begins February 3 at 6 pm. It will be available in person or virtual. Email derrick@lafayettefirst.life with any questions you may have.
