Wisdom is truth applied in specific situations for godly ends, and Solomon teaches us that it brings true happiness, has unequaled value, leads down peaceful paths, and is rooted deep like a tree of life. For Christians today, wisdom is personified in Jesus Christ himself. When we pursue wisdom, we find genuine happiness not in possessions or achievements but in a relationship with Christ. Wisdom develops our eternal soul rather than temporary possessions, brings peace amid chaos, and roots us deeply in the source of living water.
