Modern idolatry extends beyond physical statues to anything that takes God's rightful place in our lives. It manifests through impatience with God's timing, grumbling about circumstances, and seeking fulfillment outside of Him. While believers cannot be demon-possessed, divided loyalties can open doors to spiritual influence. True joy and satisfaction can only be found by giving complete devotion to God and actively fleeing from the subtle idols that compete for our allegiance.
