King of kings
The Christmas season reminds us that Jesus is not only the Christ child but also the coming King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Paul's words in 1 Timothy 6:11-16 reveal that Jesus holds universal rule, invincible reign, and makes the unapproachable God accessible to us. We can take hold of hope in difficult times because our King gives life and will appear again to make everything right. This truth should change how we live, giving us eternal perspective and motivating us to share this hope with others who desperately need the Messiah we call Savior and Lord.
