Prince of Peace
Jesus is called the Prince of Peace because He is our loving authority who earned the right to rule through His ultimate sacrifice. Unlike earthly rulers who gain power through force, Jesus became our King by laying down His life for us. His authority brings peace because we can trust that He has our best interests at heart - He proved it by dying for us while we were still sinners. When we surrender control to Him, we experience peace that passes understanding, knowing that the One who controls our lives loves us perfectly and has demonstrated His trustworthiness through His sacrifice.
