Children - LaFayette First

Children are the future of our church. For that reason, LaFayette First places a huge emphasis on making sure our children have a BLAST! with Bible-based programming where kids are ministered to on their level, learning about Jesus, while at the same time interacting with their peers. Our children’s workers are committed to making sure your child is in a safe and happy environment. WEEKLY SCHEDULE

SUNDAYS

Connect Groups for all ages—10 a.m.
(Nursery and children’s classes are on the ground floor)

Nursery—during Connect Groups and all services
(for children 2 and under, located on the ground floor)

Kids Blast! – 11 am.
(An interactive worship service for PreK-5th, located in the Kids Blast room on the ground floor)

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS

Family Night Supper—5:15 p.m.
During the school year everyone is invited to have dinner at the church before classes begin. Reservations can be made by calling the church office (706-638-3727) before 4:30 p.m. on Monday or emailing amber@lafayettefirst.life. Prices: Adults, Youth, and Children ages 5 and up are $5.00. Children 4yrs and under are free. Family maximum is $20.00.

Celebration Kids Choir—5:45 p.m.
This group of talented K-5th graders learns songs to lead our congregation in worship several times a year. They rehearse in the Blast Room every Wednesday during the school year and welcome new faces!

Children’s Mission Classes—6:15 p.m.
Children learn about Jesus, the Great Commission, how missionaries are working to reach people around the world, and how they can become involved right where they are by praying for those in ministry, participating in food drives, packing shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, visiting local ministries, and serving in the church. GAs and RAs are also awarded patches at a recognition service for accomplishments throughout the year.

Mission Friends (3-4 year olds)
Kids On Mission (for those too old for Mission Friends but not quite ready for GAs or RAs)
Girls in Action, or GAs (1st-5th grade girls)
Royal Ambassadors, or RAs (1st-5th grade boys)

Nursery available for 2 years and below.
