Our church has several ministry partners we keep up with while on the mission field. This post is a way for you to get a snapshot of all of our partners and somethings for which we can be praying.

Praises
-We praise the Lord for our 5 Summer Sojourner students and the work they did in June!
-We are so thankful for the Global Cities cluster meeting we just finished, that it was a time of fellowship, training, networking, and reconnecting with friends.
Prayer Requests
-Pray for our team as we go in different directions for a little while after cluster our meeting. Some of us are staying for vacation for different lengths of time, one is going back to BA and one is making a quick trip to the states. Pray for all of us to have a time of rest and renewal before getting back in country.
-Continue to pray for our team leaders as they are on medical stateside. Pray that they will be able to return soon.
-Pray for our church plant, that the Christians will be ready to commit to being a member, that the unbelievers will see the need for the Lord in their lives, that we will grow in numbers and that the Lord will bring a local to lead the church.
-July 26 – the Ohio team will be arriving to work at a local orphanage. Please pray for safe travels and that their work here will impact the children and those caring for the kids as well.
-On August 4, our girls will return to school after their winter break (which was longer due to our travel). Pray that they will be rested and ready to continue the second half of their school year.

So far summer missions has been going great! One major prayer request remains; we need support for the plumbing and electrical work to be done. Literally, three homes need partial final install of fixtures and lines to be ready for residents. Three more homes needs a little more work to be ready for rough in inspection of electrical, and they need rough in plumbing complete so the interiors can be closed and finished. All this work requires KY licensed workers. We cannot move forward with construction or welcoming residents.
How has God provided so far? All the work that has been completed to date is paid in full. We only have the mortgage payment on the land we are paying monthly. We are so close to open the doors to help others gain traction in life. This is more than tiny homes for people to live.
This is a ministry that will provide both Biblical counseling combined with equine groundwork application; hands on farm skills training; financial management applications; opportunity to grow in community; accountability to move forward with life choices. Each resident will have goals set when they are welcomed to The Light Community. We will welcome those who need a little extra accountability following addictive rehab, individuals aging “out of the system” that need a little extra guidance into adulthood. individuals or families that find themselves in a hard situation and need a reset.
Again, we are so close to seeing this vision become a reproductive ministry! Will you earnestly pray for us? Will you generously partner with us to provide resources? Will you eagerly participate in coming and physically helping us get over the finish line?
