Day 1: The Holy Spirit’s Role
Devotional: The Holy Spirit is often misunderstood or overlooked, but He plays a vital role in our spiritual lives. He shines a light on Jesus, helping us see our need for His forgiveness and freedom from sin. The Holy Spirit guides us, convicts us, and comforts us, always pointing us to Jesus. As we start this week, let’s open our hearts to the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives and recognize His presence.
Verse: ‘The Spirit of the Lord God is on me because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor.’ – Isaiah 61:1

This freedom is not just a future promise but a present reality. The Holy Spirit reveals this truth to us and empowers us to live in the freedom that Jesus provides. Reflect on the areas of your life where you need to experience this freedom and invite the Holy Spirit to work in those areas.
Verse: He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners; to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.

This means we are called to shine the light of Christ to those around us. Reflect on how you can be a light in your community, sharing the hope and freedom found in Jesus with others.
Verse: And John testified, “I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and he rested on him. 33 I didn’t know him, but he who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The one you see the Spirit descending and resting on—he is the one who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.

Day 5: Living for Christ
Devotional: As we conclude this week, let’s reflect on our lives and ask ourselves if we are living for Christ. The Holy Spirit reveals Jesus to us and shows us our need for Him. He also empowers us to live for Christ, shining His light in a dark world. Consider how you can live more fully for Christ, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide and direct your steps.
